Stikliai is the Lithuanian word ‘glassblower.’ Housed in a handsome old building with baroque and Gothic features, this stylish hotel is located right in the centre of Vilnius’ Old Town. This part of the city was once the home of glassblowers and other such craftsmen in the 15th and 16th century, hence the name. The hotel is comfortable and attractive, as are its public spaces. As well as a tavern and a lobby bar, there is the Dream Bar, a popular and convivial spot, everything you’d want from a hotel bar essentially. It’s an elegant space, decked out with red carpets and a vaulted ceiling speckled with stars, in which you can partake of a wide array of cocktails. The bar is well stocked, with wines and beers also available and there are a range of tasty snacks. Drinks are well presented and service is efficient. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming with an edge of sophistication.
