A classy bar and restaurant housing over 500 bottles of wine, Le Cellier is located on the 14th floor of the Novotel Yangon - and has the views to prove it.

The view from the 14th floor of the Novotel in Yangon is the utmost of impressive – and the team behind Le Cellier are well aware as they specifically designed their elegant dining room to have a picture-perfect panorama of it, including the stunning Shwedagon Pagoda in the distance. You don’t only come here for the views though, as Le Cellier serves up refined French cuisine in its spacious dining room, along with an international drinks selection in its three gorgeous bars and outdoor terraces. The interior of Le Cellier is sleek and sophisticated – all polished wooden floors, mosiac tiles and flawless white furniture – and the icing on the cake is the art gallery located at the entrance, featuring inspiring pieces by a young local artist. The food menu is as classy as the atmosphere, and includes such delights as duck breast terrine and lobster bisque, all created to perfectly complement the 500-plus bottles of wine stored in the bar’s impressive glass-fronted cellar. With over one hundred different labels to choose from, you’ll be glad to know that in-house experts are on hand to help you navigate your way to the perfect grape variety to suit your palette. Le Cellier often features live singers and musicians (always ambient and never raucous), as well as themed evenings, tapas nights and a set business lunch for when only an elegant setting will clinch the deal.
