Sleek and minimalist in decor, Jackie Brown is by far the most sophisticated spot in Zagreb’s slightly bland Centre Kaptol. The interior is smart and dark, heavy on polished black and chrome surfaces, and the bar is popular with the city’s more mature and affluent folk, as evidenced by their serious selection of fine whiskies and cognacs. There’s a pleasant terrace for sipping a smooth evening drink and the music is suitably moody and jazzy to match the atmosphere. Known to get pretty lively on the weekends.
