    The Mojito is classic refreshing cocktail with a strong Caribbean heritage. While Cuba is the undisputed birthplace of the Mojito, the exact origin of this delicious cocktail is the subject of debate. One story traces the Mojito to the 16th century when the cocktail was known as “El Draque,” in honor (or dishonor) of the English pirate and slave-trader Francis Drake.

    how to mix a Mojito

    Muddle mint leaf and simple syrup in a highball glass. Fill with crushed ice. Add light rum and lime juice. Stir. Top up with soda water.
