    Moscow Mule

Photo of a Moscow Mule cocktail

The Moscow Mule is a cocktail with a classic case of mistaken identity. Believe it or not, the Moscow Mule wasn’t concocted in Russia. It was actually created in New York’s ‘Little Moscow’ in 1941 at the Chatham Hotel. They started serving it in special copper mugs as a gimmick. Once Hollywood celebrities picked it up, the Moscow Mule hit was a fact. And it's still going strong.
