Famous for some of the best nightlife in the world, the bars in Bangkok are so much more that the seedy stereotype.

Fresh bars in Bangkok

First, find your way to RCA, a strip that’s bursting with venues. Look out for Route 66, a buzzing, three-room club. With a drinks menu that’s heavily wine and vodka, nights here are sound tracked by either a live band, R&B or trance, depending on the room. It’s simple, but effective party formula draws crowds seven nights a week. Slim/Flix, also on RCA, combines two clubs for a similar experience, although Flix keeps the party going from 2 am when Slim shuts down.

In the chic Thong-Lo area, Funky Villa offers a touch of exclusiveness with a luxe location, pricey drink range and Thai music soundtrack. The nearby and similarly stylish venue Demo blends house and trance with hip-hop and R&B.

For after-hours house and hip-hop away from the tourist traps, try Wip. Located inside the Liberty Plaza building, the party here starts up at 2 am. But if your dream night includes a Bangkok bar, plus a night market and giant Ferris wheel, then make your way over to the Suan Lum Night Bazaar.

Famous for uninhibited nightlife, Bangkok is one of the world’s true 24-7 party towns. These cleaner-cut venues pack more rambunctious partying than most cities could conjure.
