When talking about nightlife in Stockholm there are three main areas to consider. To the south is Södermalm, Östermalm covers the more northern areas, and the Old Town is located on a sort of island between the two.

Where to go out in Stockholm

Each district has its own distinct style (think boho and creative, high-end, and touristy respectively,) but wherever you find yourself you can be sure of a good night. If you’re on the hunt for live music and performance then Berns Nightclub in Östermalm is the place to start. An old theatre with plenty of history to its name, this venue knows its way around a strong vodka cocktail. It’s always wintertime over at Stockholm’s IceBar, just a bit north of the Old Town. Brought to you by the IceHotel, everything at this unique bar is made from ice. Drinks are served ‘on the rocks’ in tumblers hewn from ice. The air is kept at chilly -5C and visitors are outfitted in silver parkas and mittens to keep Jack Frost at bay!

Prefer a night of dinner and dancing? Público can do both in the summer months. Boasting a Latin American inspired menu and several devilish tequila cocktails this Stockholm bar transforms into a bouncing nightclub once the summer sun goes down.
