Florals for spring? Whip up these delicate drinks for the flower lover in your life

Spring is upon us and everything is coming up roses. Why not pour some of that energy into a delicious cocktail or two?
There’s nothing like fresh floral notes to immediately enhance your drinking experience, and you’ll find that the following drinks are as pretty as they are delicious.
Combine 2 oz gin, 3/4 oz lemon juice, 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur and 1/4 oz creme de violette into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well for 10-15 seconds until cold, strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an edible violet before serving.
Combine dried 1 tbsp dried lavender and 1 tbsp sea salt in a small plate. Rub a grapefruit slice around the rim of a rocks or highball glass and dip it in the mixture to coat. Then combine 3 oz grapefruit juice, 2 oz mezcal, and 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously, strain into your prepared glass over ice and enjoy.
Bachelor’s Button Martini
Combine 2 oz gin, 1 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc, 1 oz lemon juice, 1/4 oz bachelor’s button simple syrup and 1 egg white into a shaker. Dry-shake until frothy, then add ice and shake again for about 30 seconds until cold. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with bachelor’s button and carnation petals, and enjoy.
