How to make a Sidecar | Rescue Cocktail (feat. Alex French Guy Cooking)

Alex has done it again! Watch as he tackles the Sidecar, made famous by legendary bartender Harry MacElhone in the 1920s, without any special tools (well… almost) or bartending skills.

Welcome back to Rescue Cocktail, our latest YouTube series made in partnership with Alex French Guy Cooking, YouTuber extraordinaire.

In our final episode (shot before the global lockdown, stay safe everyone), Alex will teach us how to make a classic Sidecar using cognac by Martell, the world’s oldest cognac house,and basic equipment we all have at home. Now, this cocktail does require the use of a shaker and strainer, but Alex being Alex, we’re going to work around that using a couple of mason jars and… a power drill. Yes, we know. Trust us, it’s really much simpler than it seems!
