Tracks on the Rocks #8 - Ciao, Italia!

Welcome to Tracks on the Rocks. With summer right around the corner, we’re already
daydreaming of our next holiday. How about a road trip through beautiful Italy?

To help with the prep, here are 3 classic Italian tunes that will be perfect to belt out on the car radio, and their ideal cocktail counterparts.

Americano ft. Renato Carosone – Tu Vuò Fa’ L’Americano

Combine 1 1/2 oz Campari and 1 1/2 oz sweet vermouth in a rocks glass and stir. Add ice and top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with an orange wedge and serve.

Angelo Azzuro ft. Domenico Modugno – Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)

Start by chilling a martini glass. In a mixing glass, combine 3 oz dry gin, 1½ oz triple sec, and 1/2 oz blue curaçao. Add ice and stir until chilled. Strain into your chilled martini glass, garnish with a lemon twist and serve.

Hugo ft. Mina – Parole Parole

In a wine glass, muddle 4-5 mint leaves with 3/4 oz elderflower syrup. Add ice and 2 1/2 oz  chilled dry Prosecco. Stir gently, squeeze a lemon wedge into the drink and use another one for garnish.
