The next destination of our Tracks on the Rocks summer tour is scenic, picture-perfect Greece.
What we wouldn’t give to be basking in the Greek islands’ otherworldly natural beauty, just chilling on a boat off their pristine shores surrounded by crystal clear blue waters…
That’s the stuff dreams are made of right there. The next best thing are these deliciously refreshing Greek cocktails, accompanied by some timeless local classics.
Greek Collins ft. Melina Mercouri – Ta pedia tou Pirea
Combine 50 ml tsipouro, 20 ml fresh lemon juice and 15 ml vanilla syrup in a shaker and stir. Pour into an ice-filled Collins glass and top with chilled grapefruit soda. Garnish with juniper berries and a cinnamon stick and serve.
Mediterranean Manhattan ft. Sophia Loren, Tonis Marudas – Ti ‘ne afto pou to lene agapi
Combine 40 ml raki, 25 ml sweet vermouth and 2 drops orange bitters in a mixing glass and stir. Pour into a coupette glass, garnish with a slice of dried orange and serve.
Ouzo Sour ft. Nana Mouskouri & Demis Roussos – To Gelakaki
Combine 50 ml ouzo, 1 tsp icing sugar, 20 ml fresh lemon juice, 1 egg white and 2 drops Angostura bitters in a shaker and dry shake until frothy. Add ice and shake again until cold. Pour into a sour glass, add a couple extra drops of bitters and serve.
